AA Target Frame System
Our new AA Target Frame System is designed to be user friendly, easy to set up as well as super tough and incredibly stable. Using standard inexpensive 90x45 structural framing pine as its legs and hanger rail gives our target frame unparalleled flexibility to be as small or as large as you could possibly want.
In the photos here we’ve used 5 x 1.2m lengths of 90 x 45 pine framing timber, but you can use any length you wish, from 60cm to a huge 4.2m. Depending on the length of the top rail, the target frame can handle up to 100kg of targets at once.
The Bisalloy frame brackets are completely bullet proof and hold the timber securely, even under heavy fire. Hanging targets from the frame couldn’t be easier with 3 different options.
Chains- we use hardened 100 grade crane lifting chain which bolts to the target with hardened 12mm bolts and nylock nuts. They attach to the timber frame by our Closed Loop chain holders.
Straps- We use the same super tough and durable straps used in PRS competition both here and in the USA. Hardened 12mm bolts and nylock nuts attach targets to our straps. The straps loop around the timber frame to attach the target.
Bisalloy Frame Hook- Our frame hook is designed to hang our torso targets from the timber cross beam of our target frame. With our Hook Hanger Adapter, any target with a 12mm hole in it can be simply hung on this hook via the adapter.
Our AA target frame kit includes the Bisalloy brackets as well as 4 hardened lynch pins for assembly.
Timber parts (not included) are easily and inexpensively available at your local timber yard or hardware supplier.
